Sleep Tight!

Here are your responses to our questions about OAB and sleep.

How does OAB affect your nights?

38%   I wake up several times during the night to use the washroom
12%   I only sleep a few hours at night and have to nap during the day
12%   I stay up late so I can be sure my bladder is empty before sleeping
11%   I'm okay most nights

How do you cope with the worry of wetting accidents at night?

15%   I wear pads or liners to bed
4%   I set the alarm so I get up to pee every few hours
36%   I don’t drink liquids in the evening
11%   I have a liner on my bed, just in case

Rushing to the washroom isn’t fun at any time. Rushing at night can disturb sleep and risk injury – just ask
anyone who has been bruised by a sharp corner or walked into a door in the dark. It’s no wonder then, that
people lose sleep trying to avoid "rushed" night visits. And that’s not good, considering how often we hear
that sleep is important to our overall health.

Wouldn’t it be nice to reduce the number of times you need to visit the washroom at night? Overactive bladder can
